Beaded Christmas Charm tutorial

I decided to do my tutorials differently . I will do a short video on YouTube but post pictures of the process on here as the actual tutorial. I can show pictures of the finished items and it will be a nice way to show people not only how to make the items but have pictures they can see for inspiration. I also plan to list most of the items I make on Etsy for anyone that is interested and that also gives more pictures if they want to see the item more in detail.
Simple Christmas charm

this picture is not clear , it is of m e looping the head pin around before I cut it, and then you will see my finish the loop. On the other charm with a hanging charm, I will show this step again as well as on my blog I believe I showed it as well.

The next charm has a looped head pin and I add a charm to the bottom

This is me opening the loop, it is hard to photograph yourself and use a tool at the same time, but I will do better as I get used to this new format.

this is me closing the loop back up, very easy, and I can stack the beads on the pin.

Here are the other charms I made up for this video and blog, and they will all be listed in groups on Etsy.

Two different takes on wreathes. One rhinestone earring I took apart and a silver tone charm taken off on old charm bracelet I took apart.

reindeer charm was off of an old piece of jewelry, the snowflake was either off an old piece of jewelry or a charm I purchased years go in a bag of charms. Glass beads on both, fiber optic white on the snowflake and green glass pearl on the reindeer with a pretty AB finish rhinestone spacer.

Beautiful rhinestone snowflake small pendant and glass drop shaped bead with a silvertone bead on top. Lovely faceted glass heart with green and red glass accent beads top and bottom.

This one was really fun as I used a wrapped bead and combined it with glass beads and a tassel from a charm bracelet on the bottom !!

This is a lamp work Christmas tree bead with two glass pearls in red and blue and a simple yellow bead. The tree was from a bracelet I took apart !

top charm is a paper bead and a red glass pearl with metal bead caps, the bottom is several pretty glass beads and a nice snow flake charm.

I do not usually put a loop on the bottom of a charm, but it can be done and many people enjoy the look of the loop on the bottom. You would do this using the looped pin and not putting a charm on the loop, just leaving it empty and doing the normal loop on top. Gives it a different look !!

I used a pretty read metal etched bead and some pretty pine cone charms and some glass and crystal beads

Loved these stacked rhinestone spacer beads. They made them from stacked spacers but connected them together to make beads. I used a very nice quality pine cone charm on the bottom and a glass bead with a metal bead cap on the top.

Top charm is a beaded chain style, and the bottom is a simple stacked beaded charm.

the one on the left is an earring I took off of the ear wire, only had one in a big lot of jewelry. I added a nice faceted glass bead with metal bead cap and a red faceted glass bead on top. The other charm is a simple stacked beaded charm. Large glass flat faceted red bead on the bottom, green glass pearl with a fluted metal bead on top.

Fun plastic beads when strung together look like a Santa hat, added a beautiful glass faceted bead in green for some added color.

These are both Lamp work glass beads bought online many years ago. I added a green accent under the snowman head and stacked two black beads to make a small hat. I added a fun twirled bead to the Santa head to make his beard and added glass beads on top and bottom.

Two simple beaded charms, the right one is all glass beads, the one on the left is glass top and bottom and a metal bead off an old bracelet that had enamel looking red , gold and green stripes on it.

On the left, a fun enamel charm with glass beads and a rhinestone spacer off of an old piece of jewelry I took apart. The one to the right is glass beads and another of the same style spacer with rhinestones.

lamp work holly with glass bead accents on the bottom

fun stacked rhinestone spacer bead and I believe I added a spacer on top and then large red and green glass faceted beads .

Fun plastic bead with glass faceted bead on the bottom, and a really pretty bead cap on top with a small glass round bead on top.

These beaded charms were a lot of fun. Please check out my channel to see the video tutorial where I show most of these and do a short video tutorial as well.

I will be working on the listings and hope to get them all up today. Some will be sold seperately or in small lots, some may be in larger lots.
