Santa beaded and sequined ornament tutorial

Here is the link to the video, all the materials I used are pictured and described below. I loved making this Santa, I hope you enjoy him too !!!

I wanted to put all the items here I used for anyone that was interested in either making this ornament, or just one of the materials for their own projects !!!

here is the ornament, I am very happy with how he turned out !!
THe cookie cutter I used for inspiration

I tried to put a link but it just would not. Here is the item however

LILIAO Christmas Santa Face Cookie Cutter – 3.4 x 4.3 inches – Stainless Steel

next I made a drawing from the cookie cutter to make the pattern

well, I tried to make it smaller, but it would not let me. Maybe you can find a way to print it out smaller , I did put the dimensions.
the following are all the materials I used
red , white and cream which was a perfect skin tone
a small pair of scissors to cut out both your pattern and your felt shapes, these are all pairs I use, the one is the package is a duplicate I have but use the exact same pair on a regular basis. The middle one is great for snipping threads and that is what is actually for.
beading thread in any color you want to use. You can buy thread in these small spools, and some slightly larger spools and in big 3 oz spools. All on Amazon or some small spools at Michaels and JoAnns
beading needles, they are longer and thinner and have a much smaller eye to fit through the seed beads than a normal sewing needle, online or in most craft stores. These are from JoAnns

In no particular order are the seed beads and sequins I used

basic red metallic sequins for the Santa hat. These are a five mm.

from Hobby Lobby, red 11/0 seed beads, I find them half price a good amount of the month.
My favorite place to buy sequins, they run about 1.75 or so a bag. You can find pretty much any size , color or shape of sequins here. I am not affiliated with them in any way ,just a huge customer of theirs !!!
white ceylon seed beads. TOHO my favorite brand, and 11/0 which is the size I pretty much always use. You can find a good white seed bead anywhere that sells sead beads, this is just one of many I use, again, not affiliated with this one, or any of them at all.
for the eye, I have this same sequin in 5 mm as well. It is one of my favorites !!
I adore these seed beads and have bags and bags of them from several different places !!! I use them for many things !!!
This was in a bag I got from Cartwrights that has a mixture of different Christmas sequins. I do not think they sell them separate, the holly they sell by itself is larger and individual leaves. You can use anything for that side, or nothing, but this is what I used.

So, these are the things I used. I hope this list helps. Places like Hobby Lobby have a lot of felt, seed beads and sequins if you are just starting out.

Thanks for stopping by !!!
