STEPHIE'S BEADS AND BAUBLES

I promised to share whatever I am up to, so I got out some beads , some new and some old, and made myself some jewelry. I figured I might as well have earrings in every color I love and every bead I love, although I will need to figure out a better jewelry storage system so I can see them all and enjoy them !!

I had found some beads I had been looking for , literally for years. I had made a pair of earrings that disapeared along the way, and had loved the green beads and never could find more. I was thrilled when Hobby Lobby had them on clearance and I bought four strings of them, lol.

here are some earrings I used them in !! They are the fiber optic beads I love so much , and the white beads are a round version !!

I made a lot of earrings today, just kind of bored and thought, why not ? I am really trying to figure out what I want to do, still drifting a lot, but trying to move forward and just be creative. None of these earrings are beyond ordinary, but they are perfect to wear daily and serve my purpose. I was just not capable of much more than this. Normally I am a bit more creative, but this was all I could muster today !!

my earth beads, a stone bead that looks like a globe, one of my more expensive stone beads, still have 8 left, used with moon stone, so pretty !!

a beautiful lamp work bead, in black and blues, bought two strings because they were  half price and so pretty !!

the lighting stinks in my studio, so they are not very good pictures. these are all glas beads. The turquoise bicones are a opague crystal bead.

the reds I used are all bright cherry red, very rich and pretty, they come out terrible in pictures and no matter what camera I use, including my  husbands SLR, they are muddy looking. Not sure why, but red just will not photograph for me well. No matter the lighting or back ground.

I love this blue and made a lot of Christmas jewelry with snow flakes and this blue with clear and white.

So, that is it, my creations for today. Heading into my personal jewelry box. I cannot say I had fun, I am still kind of eehh, but I am working on it. It is really hard to get back to it, when I just felt so discouraged. But I do still love beads, more than I should, lol, and I do love to create. I am trying to get back into it.

Some of my issues could also be the pigsty of a room.

Tomorrow I will be working on my friends tassels, I was on the phone a lot today and could make the earrings without much thought. I want to be very clear when I work on her pretty items !!! I will share what we are up to in the next couple of days.  I do love working on her items, no issues there !!! I have a focus, a goal and even better, someone to work with on the pieces, so it is a lot of fun !! She keeps me on my toes and I love it !! I never know what we are going to do next, so I find that fun, but then custom orders have always been my favorite !!
