I am posting a video on this ornament on my channel and will post a link below, but wanted to show pictures of all the items I used to create this fun leg lamp ornament

first I take the leg lamp cookie cutter, a ink stamp pad in a color that will show up on the felt, silver for dark, black for light, and stamp the cookie cutter onto the felt, doing seperate ones for the shoes and the skirt and some black or yellow for back, beige for the legs

I then use sequins and seed beads to embellish the skirt and shoes, and I used embroidery floss for the net stockings. Next time I will use iron on interfacing or glue some fabric on the backs of the leg with fabric glue or spray so I have more strength on the edges as I could not go close enough to the edge with the embroidery floss as the felt will tear if you get to close without strengthing it.
I do the bead work with the skirt and shoe over the beige let cut out, setting the cut out items over the shape on the beige leg so they are the correct clor. You can see all the shapes in the picture above. I do not add the back until all the front is completely finished, then I bead the edges together.
Here are the beads and sequins I used for this project.

I used cotton to stuff the skirt and a folded pipe cleaner for the leg, doubled for the wider thigh and single for the lower leg

I used beading thread which comes in all colors and I talk about it in the video, and beading needles which are thinner to get through the seed beads. I also use a normal needle to tie off the back as it is easier to go through the fabric over and over with a shorter needle, explain that in the video as well as in the actual video tutorials posted in the description box of this video.

small detail scissors help you cut out the felt shapes and the threads. I got these in the sewing dept at Hobby Lobby when they were on 40 percent off.

here is the link to the video I just posted
I would love to hear what you think !!!
