STEPHIE'S BEADS AND BAUBLES

I got in a bit of a funk recently when all my beads kind of got put away. I decided to put it all out on the huge dining room table again and have fun. I have gathered so many amazing supplies over the last 24 years, and I have decided to get moving on some new pieces and maybe redo some  old ones .

I have so many amazing glass and stone beads in nice big sizes, so I want to have fun making some big statement type necklaces. I have a few listed from last year, but I want to get in and do some more. I could not believe  how much stone I have. I follow a wonderful blog that I have mentioned before and Tracy creates the most beautiful  stone jewelry, be sure and check out her Etsy store at

she has been a huge inspiration to me.

My hubby had  talked me into buying a ton of stone about a year and a half ago at the bead market and I had not really used much of it. I also had some stone, along with a box stuffed full of stone chips. Recently I posted some necklaces I got for a buck each, all stone. So, now it is time to get moving on some new pieces.

Here is what I gathered on the table.

bead caps, my gosh, I have a ton !!! below that, a ton of smaller metal beads

stone chips, many are new but the majority of them I have had over twenty years now !!!

Glass, stone, ceramic and metal, and some that are acrylic and stone, an amazing collection and it is time to start taking the strings apart and creating new things out of them !!

this is not even counting over twenty boxes of glass beads in every color !!

So, I plan to start playing with my beads tomorrow and will share what I come up with !!!
